How it’ll Be
We know most banquets and Galas are the same. “Dress up” and mingle with people for a reception or cocktail hour. Right? Enter the ballroom for dinner. Sounds good? Speech, speech, speech, speech, long Award Ceremonies, Presentations. Interesting? And then music and dance. True?
This year we have changed that: Our Gala is chuck full of entertainment; it’s our gift of glamour, glitz and elegance; it’s a production that took us one a year to perfect. We have made you our focus with performances to keep you delighted throughout the evening. There will be no keynote speaker or other speech, speech, speech; nothing tiresome. There is dinner and five thrills that makes this an amazing Grand Gala.
Thrill # 1: Managed for perfect flow of events
Our event manager will ensure that every section of our production runs smoothly, from your arrival through cocktails where you are entertained by our DJ Janice the Empress and violinist, Nicole Yarling. Easy timing while you are escorted over red carpet to the comfort of your table for dinner.
Thrill # 2: Ballet Elite’s rendition of the famous Broadway Play – The Nutcracker
The prestigious Ballet Elite delight you with their splendid rendition of the fanciful tale of a girl who befriended a nutcracker. You will be enthralled by over thirty (30) cast members, twirling across the glittery stage to recreate the classical and fantastical children’s ballet tale of the enchanting Nutcracker!
Thrill # 3: A recitation of poems
Rebecca Butterfly’s interplay of words and rhyme will sooth and bless your hearts. You’ll remain affixed with this most fictional expression as she shoots a sequence of lines; sometimes softly, other times harshly.
Thrill # 4: Saxophonist David Rodriquez
Enjoy the rhythm of the saxophone as David plays his carefully selected melodies. He is well known for his serious solo literature of familiar semi-classical music.
Thrill # 5: The Virtues contemporary semi-classics
The husband and wife duo have something in store for you. They will break the stylized classical music mood with the sprinkle of a more contemporary semi-classical feel.

It’s an event for you! Most of all, your support will benefit the less fortunate children, and aged people of Highgate who we love so much, as well as the homeless here in South Florida. Join us and we’ll offer our beautiful Souvenir Journal, FREE of cost, to help tell the story of what we’ve done for our less fortunate people over the last thirteen years.
